Why does Pluggit use plastic ducts & can they evaporate?

The duct is quick and easy to install due to the smooth and flexible material. Shaped parts are largely unnecessary. The big bend radii instead of the shaped parts allow trouble-free cleaning of the ducts. Another crucial advantage is the sound-absorbing effect of the plastic. Despite its flexibility the duct is extremely resistant when stepped on and is even in case of extreme load (heavy handbarrow or the like) not notably damaged due to the high elastic recovery capability of the plastic in contrast to sheet metal ducts which are far more damageable. All system components are made from food safe materials (ABS, PP, PUR) and virtually never evaporate since Pluggit abstains from using additives (e.g. against ionisation).
