What about the pressure losses of the PluggFlex ducts and hoses – won’t they become too important?
The decrease in pressure depends on the section, the volume flow, the aerodynamic design and the pipeline length. The PluggFlex duct has a hydraulically almost smooth surface, doesn’t require sharp-edged shaped parts and is perfectly suited for the necessary volume flows of up to approximately 30 m³/h per outlet.
Double adaptors are used for increased volume flows or pipeline lengths. Hoses should be stretched during the mounting process and bows should be generously implemented. In this way, taking the volume flow limits into account, low pressure losses are achieved.
