Saving energy and protecting the environment by means of ventilation

Saving energy means saving money and making a valuable contribution to environmental protection at the same time. On the one hand, this preserves natural resources, because there is no need to generate energy from coal, oil, gas or nuclear power. On the other hand, the emissions of pollutants are reduced.

One of these pollutants is the carbon dioxide (CO2) which is produced during all combustion processes – in other words each energy generation from fossil fuels. The CO2 content of our air has steadily increased since the industrialisation and considerably contributes to global warming.

Thanks to the installation of a Pluggit room ventilation system with heat recovery, a major part of heating energy, which is needed to heat the outside air, can be saved.

Additionally, you help reduce the noxious CO2 and preserve the environment. Though the air flows must be carried using fans, the required energy for this purpose is yet kept to a minimum thanks to our technical improvement.

The power requirement which is necessary to ventilate an entire detached house approximately corresponds to that of a light bulb.

Technical data of a Pluggit ventilation unit (Avent P300) for a mid-size detached house.

heat supply rate: up to 95% (with condensate)

power consumption: 38 W (at 150m3/h and 100 Pa)

coefficient of performance: > 15

Technical data of a Pluggit ventilation unit (AR100) for a flat of 100 m².

heat supply rate: up to 95% (with condensate)

power consumption: 40 W (at 100m3/h and 100 Pa)

coefficient of performance: > 15

The coefficient of performance is the ratio of the recovered thermal energy to the required electrical energy. The amount of recovered thermal energy is at least 15 times as high!
